Sweet Treat Pluerry White Wine Grape doing well in dry andPrunus x 'Sweet Treat' This Sweet Treat was the first of the interspecific crosses created by the prolific modern breeder Fred Zaiger to carry the name pluerry (plum sweet cherry cross, with bits other prunus family members like apricot and peach). It looks like a rounded, red Asian plum, and the flavor is mostly plum as well, but the cherry brings lots more sweetness and complexity. Clingstone, with lovely amber flesh and a surprisingly small pit.
