半世紀以上前、熱帯地域用に開発されたミリタリーファブリックを解析、日本独自の織布技術をもって昇華させた生地です。パナマ組織とも見て取れるその生地は、似て非なるものであり、スラブ糸によって凹凸があること、そのメッシュのような生地感が夏の着用を快適にしてくれます。すでに歴史がこの生地の有用性を証明していますが、さらに、100年続く日本で唯一の技術を持った播州の機屋にて、独自のアレンジを加え、より通気性の良い生地に仕上がっています。また、生地密度の異なるスポットが散在するこの生地は、染料を重ねることで高密度の箇所は色が薄く、密度の低い箇所には染料がよく浸透しその柄が影のように浮かび上がってきます。
