This created a much more luxurious feel to the seats with more support around the bolsters

The seat frame is glued to the central "U" shape shown here and then the outer edges of the foam are turned over the frame and glued back to create a soft rounded edge over the frame

As listed on our seat covers we recommend all MM Series front seats to be fitted by an experienced restorer as these are notoriously difficult and take our skilled fitters nearly 3 days to complete

FRONT SEAT BASE FOAM CUSHION 1967-80 GT6 MKIII Newton Commercial Part No –This base foam was introduced in the MKII Minis and creates a more defined shape with its raised sides in contrast to the the flat foams of earlier production. This gives the base more definition, offering more support.
