Victorian / Edwardian Top Hat - Black Size:Large These are Black Chenille BrocadeThis black smooth velvet Top Hat is 6 1 4" with a 1 3 4" brim. This style was first worn by the Dandies in the early 1800's and continued to be popular through the Empire 1800 1850, Victorian 1837 1901 and Edwardian 1890 1910 periods. Today it is also used as a Circus Ringmaster and for Steampunk costuming.
