This used to be a hot water pitcher but the pewter lid has been removed which is great as this can now be used as a vase

Found in an old pit in Yorkshire

It looks a little dusty in the detailed photographs but I will give it a polish before it arrives to you

Here in the studio I take great joy in mending and saving old boxes with care. They are re lined (where needed) with beautiful old French and English cottons and at times some of the original silk lining has remained.
