Amazing 1860s 6th Plate Tintype of a Machine - Possibly a Cigar Press??? outlaw Original circa 1890 photo ofOriginal circa 1863 1 6 tintype photo of some contraption! I believe it's a cigar or tobacco press, but I don't know for sure, but definitely unusual and pretty rare subject matter. The tintype measures approximately 3. 25" x 2. 75" and its in very good antique condition, with light surface wear if you look close you can see traces of the original brass mat.. at one time this was in a full case, behind glass a pretty meaningful image to somebody.
