Rare Antique Daguerreotype // Engraving of POET William Cullen Bryant / Sealed nurse Indian TerritoryOriginal c. 1849 1851 sixth plate daguerreotype photo of an engraving of the famous poet William Cullen Bryant. I believe this is the W. Pate steel engraving that appeared in Putnam's Monthly. In a full case that is 3. 75" x 3. 25" when closed. Original unbroken seals. Excellent antique condition. Any spots on my photo are on under the glass and not on the image. Spine of the case is splitting, but still intact.
