Said to have been composed on Bach's deathbed and dictated to a student, it is a fitting conclusion to his great, unfinished work. The three lower voices weave contrapuntal lines and the Trumpets sound the Chorale melody in the top voice four times before the harmonically rich conclusion. About five minutes in length.
