FRENCH 1870 GRAS BAYONET WITH AMERICAN HISTORICAL CONNECTIONS The buckle has a goodA very nice condition Gras bayonet, excellent blade. Marked in French along the flat back of the blade of the Arsenal at St. Etienne January 1879. Good wood grips slightly bruised. Rifle retaining system in working condition. Complete with its undamaged scabbard. This particular bayonet was originally from the estate of the well known western Sherriff Wyatt Earp. The bayonet was brought back from WWI by Mr John Flood, who was Mr. Earps personal
