German WWII Afrikakorps 1st Pattern Breast Eagle Important: This helmet has beenA now scarce example of the 1st pattern Afrikakorps breast eagle, Bevo woven in blue thread on a tan backing, as originally worn on tropical tunics. This piece has been removed from a tunic and shows faint traces of glue to the reverse where it was once mounted on a collectors display board. Loose threads remain around the edges, consistent with field removal. A desirable and increasingly difficult to find Afrikakorps insignia. Ref; 84299
