This is a fine example of a Merycoidodon lower jaw from the Middle Oligocene Brule Formation

the only definite remains are YPM 1925 (the holotype femur of "Nanosaurus" 'rex') and possibly some other associated postcranial bits

There are no filled natural fractures

they had a full set of teeth

Although found in the Green River Formation it eventually became extinct in North America

Morrison Formation Upper Jurassic Moffat County, Colorado This is an excellent example of the rare tooth of Apatosaurus. It is 3. 2 cm long and 1 cm wide at the base of the tooth section. It is very well preserved for such a delicate relic. This tooth shows a tiny bit of ware at the very tip of the tooth. The tooth surface texture and a few subtle striations are diagnostic of the genera. This example was collected in close association
