Missionary though solidDaniel Rowland [1713 1790] served for over 5 decades as one of the three leading figures of the Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Revival of the 18th century and was the "Whitefield of Wales." Howell Harris and Rowland worked together from 1737 to 1741, but by 1750 had severed ties completely with each other. He is covered expansively in J. C. Ryle's Christian Leaders. This is the first English edition, with subscriber's list, of the sermons of Rowland.
